How to Leverage Device Groups

Applies to: pt360 Tool Suite

A device group is a repository of IP(s) and subnet(s) that are grouped for quick access when running various tools. This allows you to segment your network into categories like routers, switches, servers, workstations, or SF location, NYC location, etc.

Device groups can be entered into to any tool and it will run against the IPs of the device group. This provides for quick access when you are seeking a quick result.

To create a device group:
Simply right click on a IP(s) and select 'Add to Device Group'.
In addition the Device Group manager can be accessed on the Tools launch page or Edit->Device Group in the menu toolbar.

Devices groups are stored and will be available every time you use pt360.
