Agent Manipulation
I would really like to be able to manipulate agents.
1) Provide a remote uninstaller from the console - tell the agent to go away transparently.
2) Redirect hosts to other agents.  This is important.  I just had to recreate a bunch of customer router and switch devices, because the old agent box died and we needed to create a new agent.  I lost all of the provious history of my routers and switches.  Very painful loss.
3) Change an agent's name and IP Address from an applet on the agent machine.

RE:Agent Manipulation
Hi Jamison.
To answer your questions:

1. When you delete an agent from the studio, it will send a request back to that device to uninstall the agent. Is this not happening?
2. Redirecting agents at the moment is on the roadmap for a future release.
3. Currently, you can modify the agent settings in the registry where the agent is installed on. But NOTE: This is NOT recommended, and only used when absolutely necessary! I will submit this as an enhancement request.

Thanks for all of your feedback Jamison.

RE:Agent Manipulation
Thanks, Mario.  I did not realize the agent would uninstall after a console delete.  Good to know.

RE:Agent Manipulation

I too think there should be 'something saying' or a notification when deleting items with an agent that the agent will be uninstalled.

RE:Agent Manipulation
Thank you for your feedback! I will pass this over to the team, and see if we can integrate that into a future build.
