We're extremely excited about our most current release (PT MSP 5.2). In this release MSP's will now have over 40 desktop management functions that will dramatically improve their ability to provide quality desktop support service and lower their cost of delivery. Features include remote control, custom scripting, point to point file transfer, registry configuration, unassisted / unattended support and user chat to name a few. MSPs can manage their customers' devices remotely, in real time, while users continue to work without disruption. The Expert Assist agent is automatically deployed within the PacketTrap MSP framework.

Also in 5.2, PT MSP now has SNMP Trap Manager which is a complete receiver and analysis utility that that captures SNMP traps sent from various devices on a network. It uses an extensive MIB library to reference OID description to make traps easy to recognize and understand quickly. Proactive alert notifications can be sent based on OID, source and other key trap information to make sure you know about problems before your customer does.

And finally, in 5.2, PT MSP now has a robust network mapping functionality that leverags robust network discovery techniques. PT MSP's network mapping produces a multi-level, comprehensive, easy-to-view network map for each of your customers. Drill into devices and links for granular statics on performance and other key metrics. Maps are updated as new devices are added to the customer’s network.
