With all the gloom & doom that's been coming down the pipe over the last couple of years it's encouraging to see the MSP industry trending in an upwards direction.  According to most studies, the Managed IT Services market is poised for substantial growth in 2010.

With all the gloom & doom that's been coming down the pipe over the last couple of years it's encouraging to see the MSP industry trending in an upwards direction.  According to most studies, the Managed IT Services market is poised for substantial growth in 2010.

It's also nice to see the 10 to 49 seat SMB demographic leading the way with 36%  ($5.15Billion) of the IT spend in 2009.  That is an amazing number when you think about that market as well.  These are the Main ST/Mom & Pop business that most Managed Services Providers are targeting for outsourced IT Services.

So when you look at the overall numbers, SMBs have spent $14.3 Billion (46% of the overall IT Spend) on Managed IT Services.  That's not on hardware... that's IT Support Services!
