PSA Integration Comes to PacketTrap
Posted on Wed, Feb 22, 2012
It’s an exciting time for the PacketTrap MSP team as we announced the acquisition of BlueFolder (www.bluefolder.com), a company that for the past several years has developed and sold Field and Professional Service Management solutions to MSPs – building a strong MSP customer base in the process. A professional services automation (PSA) system is a critical tool for many MSPs, as it enables organizations to streamline common business processes and daily tasks: job scheduling, technician management, CRM, service requests, billing and invoicing, equipment tracking and more.
While Quest has (and will maintain) relationships with several PSA solution providers, this acquisition enables us to deliver the first ever business management solution that combines robust, remote monitoring and management functionality with a PSA through a single, integrated solution. By using an integrated solution from Quest, MSPs will be benefit from:
- Saving time and making employees more productive
- Improving cash flow and profitability
- Growing their businesses without expanding resources
- Coordinating sales and marketing efforts
A few important factors made BlueFolder an attractive acquisition target. First, we were impressed with BlueFolder’s SaaS-based delivery model and by the product’s ease-of-use. Further, it’s clear that the BlueFolder management team shares our sentiment that we’re not just in the business of providing technology, we aim to identify IT and business pain points consuming solution providers in an effort to develop user-friendly solutions.
We’ll announce more specifics about an integrated product offering later this quarter. In the meantime, our current PacketTrap MSP customers and the BlueFolder customers should rest assured that they will receive the same level or attention and service they’ve come to expect from both companies.
To our new friends at BlueFolder and its customers – Welcome Aboard!
